Just seen a picture on Facebook from a kopite 'banter group' thst someone had shared. They asked for a pic with him and he called them a bell because one of them was doing a 4 0 on his hands at the time.

Will other team pay £13m for him? He offers nothing in attack.

As a DM he has done his job but think we will need better CM if we are to make top 4 next season.

No surprise Mc Carthy is playing poorly trying to babysit a defence that is camped on it's own penalty spot. He needs to be in the opposition's face, not chained in front of the deepest back four in the league. Martinez tactics have ruined him.

How the tide has turned against him.
When first signed, I always thought it was a lot of money for a player who runs around a lot.
Reading posters on here, we miss him when he's not playing. When he is playing, he shouldn't be.
We're doomed!

Jake Livermore was £8million. I don't rate McCarthy but in a certain system he is a very effective player. You need to recall games such as Lille at home last season where he dominate them.

Ireland v German mom I knew he had a chance of being the best player on the pitch before the game as they would have no ball & all he would be expected to do is track runners & tackle.

He doesn't suit possession teams as he is largely scared of the ball but premier league football is not possession based its become all about counter attack & he is very adept at breaking up counter attacks
