Love the way he doesn't hesisate for a second in any challenge with any player.

If the ball's there to be won he's won it.

I think soon enough he'll start adding some goals to his game. That's all he needs really to be a really good box-box midfielder; he's already got tackling, positioning (although this could be improved further), passing, touch, stamina, pace, strength and a great attitude. He's only going to get better.

Great player who will sort us out for the years ahead the only problem I have is that he doesn't really look for the forward pass much but we know he has it in his locker when he played that ball to lukaku against southampton . If he gets further more then he can become a complete midfielder

It's difficult for him to do that too often though with the system Martinez plays. McCarthy sits and protects along with Barry, leaving the three attacking midfielders supporting the loan striker.

I thought he was far too negative in the first half, but there again, who wasn't? Second half he was outstanding, first to the loose ball nearly every time. When the team click into gear, he stands out. When the team is under par, as in the first half, he can go missing at times. When he learns to take the lead he'll be a great player.
