I think its only right that we give him a token five match ban. Thankfully there was no hint of racism in the tackle so he's spared being transfer listed, but I hope he would heed our warning.

Very fair comment sir, it is to be hoped that the FA take note of Everton's continuing actions to reclaim association football.

Its almost effortless for us though good sir. Although we do have the distinct bonus of sharing a city with that lot who make us look a lot better than what we probably are.

It was a late challenge, arguable whether yellow or red, but the ref made his mind up.

It is not like he has gone out to kill ffs.

We need him in good form for the derby. Gerrard will certainly not be holding back from his challenges... well timed or not.

Eh? Who said he did? It was a late, very poor tackle, simple as that.

We've all seen reds for less than that, but the ref gave a yellow. We've been a little fortunate in recent weeks, both Barry and McCarthy could have gone in successive weeks.

we've had other decisions that haven't gone our way this season too such as the penalty that should have been given at Cardiff so it's swings and roundabouts.

If a player kicks an opposition player than said player should likewise be kicked in a designated area by a selected member of the opposition.

Kick kicking out of football.

Fantastic idea that mate. Same for those players diving and looking to con the ref, they should be forced to remain where they "fell" so the opposition goalkeeper and defence can deliver their own justice using their feet only.

Although LFC might have to treble the size of their squad to facilitate the amount of absentees.

Still bags to come from McCarthy, he has an awfull lot more in his offensive game then hes showing at the moment.
