Anyone comparing him to Zidane would be barking up the wrong tree. As someone hinted at before, the people who won't appreciate McCarthy will be the MoTD highlights types. I thought he was excellent yesterday - he does the unspectacular stuff which allows Mirallas, Barkley and co to do the MoTD highlights stuff
