Also by the look of Ross has lost a lot of weight to get himself in peak condition for his new club Chelsea. Well in Rossy lad you no longer have an arse the size of the rear end of the Queen Mary. Really respected Everton didn't he, can see why some of our fans on here still pine after him and blame the club.

McCarthy seems to be the forgotten man. It is so far ago since he played regularly, I can't remember how bad he was. I vaguely recall he was one of our "crab" players going sideways and backward? Perhaps I am doing him a disservice.

True, we'd probably have lost like we did when he was bossing the midfield and we lost 3-2 at home to West Ham after being 2-0 up with 11 minutes left.
