I'm not up on all the PSR and the new SCR wages related rules so I've no idea what they can or can't potentially spend but I'd imagine it's nothing like the funds City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool, and Arsenal will have available in the Summer. So I'd imagine CL football will be as unobtainable as ever. Think we'll see a lot more loans with options which may get us Conference at best. Any way back to Garner. Really like him,had a great season for us. Is he good enough to start for England in the World Cup? No.
Let him have option to prove that theory right or wrong. Remember it's an England squad, Not an England 11.

Jordan Henderson could be bottom of everyone of those lists, sitting on Brentford's bench and he's still going ahead of Garner.
If Henderson is then garner is but we know only pickford will be there from Everton

Unfortunately asking Thomas Tuchel to think is a bit much.
I doubt he takes any of them. Garner is better than some of the guys he's been calling up, but Tuchel fancies himself a mad genius and so he's not going to take a midfielder from a team that plays completely differently to whatever mess he plans on serving up.

Henderson might just make the squad for his influence in the dressing room. Playing Garner next to Gueye has probably ruined any real chance he ever had.
You're probably right with that tbh but it makes me laugh that a washed up player who was never much chop will get picked to hold the hands of players he's never been fit to lace their boots
