Really liked the look of him early doors. Thought we'd signed a top talent.

Then been disappointed with him for the majority of his time here. Hadn't done enough on the ball to justify what he does off it.

Been really good this season though, perhaps benefiting from being around better players and still only 24. I hope this the standard for him now, and he improves.

Yeah, he's been very in and out overall. I'm not completely convinced, but he'd be low on my list of those we need to upgrade. But we're still standing still if we're not adding to the squad or upgrading the squad this window, the third of the Friedkin tenure.

I thought he was a decent player who could get better even before this season but the rate at which he's improved this season to become one of our most important players is remarkable and a testament to him as a player. I think its been particularly notable during December and January with a lot of our other important players out that he stepped up even more and honestly put in Captain like performances to carry the team through some hard games.
