Really need to bin putting him on the long throws.

Makes zero sense given how much of a handful he is in the box and, most importantly, he doesnt have a long throw. I swear James Garner was taking the long throws at one point and they were better than O'briens.

Definitely, look forward to seeing him playing centre back consistently too, good height and pace. If Branthwaite can stay fit, they'd make a great long term pairing at the back

Dare I say he doesn't seem to miss many game through injury.

Really do think his body is out of sync with his brain. He is so slow to react to things like a quick pass when being closed down. Always gets blocked. That pass from Illy today when he stood and waiting for a slow rolling ball instead of going to meet it hence it getting stole by Palace. We need as CB not RB. Lets have a proper RB for a change. We have 2 on the bench.

I get he’s playing out of position but I must be honest I’m starting to think maybe he isn’t good enough for a starting position at CB for a team in and around European spaces.

Don’t get me wrong he starts in front of Keane all day, but think his ceiling isn’t as high as initially thought.

Was second to a few balls he was heavy favourite for today. Needs to be playing CB, but do suspect he’s not going to excel when (if) he ever gets a run there.

Can't play right back. And our two centre backs were terrible.

Theres an obvious decision here but the manager won't do it

I’m judging him as being a sub par football player, who in his best position, is a squad player at best.

I feel bad for the lad to be honest, it’s not like when Lescott was actually a very serviceable left back plus a help in both boxes on set pieces, he’s just not a right back
