Player Valuation: £10m
On Jags performance & leadership this season do you think he will made captain next season..............I think he should and well deserved(y)(y)(y)

If there is to be a change of captain (which there wont be!), then there is only 1 man deserving of that honour.......step forward Mr Cahill. The epitomises Everton, he is a born leader and drives the team forward

Jags deserves the role, who better to be our next Captain than our best player so far this season

Cahill is not Captain material in my opinion, he is too quiet on the pitch, whereas Jags has been Captain at Sheff Utd and will get his point acroos throughout the match

As much as id love him to be Captain, i think Nevilles doing a dam fine job of it, and i wouldnt take the captaincy off him at all.

I rate Tim highly but always prefer to have my captain at the back where he can see whats happening all over the pitch, leave Tim to steal the goals:lol: a red [Poor language removed] actually called him a cheat because he sneaks in:lol::lol::lol: so at the next derby can Timmy wear a bell to make it fair:lol::lol::lol:mind you the guy moaning has had to hand over £40 this week two £20 bets giving me the draw on both of them(y)I offered a double or nothing on the next one and he refused it:lol:

Jags to succeed Neville as Captain is a great shout - heard it first from my Missus whilst watching the game yesterday.

In terms of leadership and grit he does remind me a little of Stubbsy - always looks like he will give everything and then some for the team

I agree with that. It took me a while to warm to Cap'n Pip but he has made a really good captain. It's great to see a few good candidates to take over when the time is right. It shows people care about the team. At the moment I would give it to Tim Cahill but I don't think we'll be looking for a new captain for a few years yet.

Jagielka is a rock, and a born leader, he is an obvious choice to replace Neville as captain at some point.

Not very many defenders can keep Torres quiet for 2 games
