I like him. I remember when he first signed people questioned it. 4 million wasn't it? What a great buy, great player and loyal servant. For me, captain fantastic overall. No longer first 11 but we can't question he influence in a squad to teach the new players and young lads the Everton way and what is expected. Hope he and Baines get their proper and deserved send offs when it comes around

Said it before but he will never know what it means to captain this club his comments over the years have really pissed me off.

He plays us down constantly and is so negative and defeatist decent centre half but I will be glad to see him go.

3 years of Moshiri & people forget 30 years of austerity Everton. John Spencer, Marc Hottiger & at least 60 others I’d rather forget have worn the Everton shirt...

Jagielka came in from Sheffield Utd for not much. He quickly became one of Moyes best pieces of business. He made Lescott look better than he was (defensively). He captained us to an FAC semi win & stood up to score the winning penalty. Did a great job on Drogba in the final. OK, we lost against abramovic’s millions, but still a fantastic effort. In terms of value for money, there’s not that many have given us more.
