One hell of a player in the making.....I just hope we match his ambition and talent on and off the pitch, so he feels he has a future here and not be enticed away.

If £35m came in for him we would have to accept.

The side who offer £35m will be getting themselfs one hell of a player.

Nah, don't think we need to take any offers on him now. He's recently signed a new contract so Everton should have a couple of years to grow him and at the same time, make progress in cracking the top 4. In all honesty, I think it's the opportunity to play regularly in the Champions League that gets players to make big moves. Lescott didn't think Everton was going to get him there and maybe Citeh will - at least Citeh have shown the easy willingness to spend to try to make it happen while we're stuck waiting for Moyes to pull a rabbit of his hat to make it happen.

Let's not make a spilled omlette. Young Rodwell has lots of potential, but a risk of the next vaughn is here. Young bodies need time to mature and strengthen. He needs to rest and let more mature players take their place until he is ready.

He is not made of Glass.

Not another Vaughan.

Different build, Different player, Different potential.

I understand your concerns, but I don't think they need to worry us.

Rodwell will be in a Man United shirt next season - £25mill. Nailed. On.

Or a Citeh one for £35million....

runs away

nah i cant see that happening, he lives around the corner from me and i went to the same school as him and i cant see him leaving his boyhood club for a few years if that yet

I see no reason to think you are not genuine, so thanks for the post mate.

Yeah, a few sports writers have put Rodders up as a surprise addition.

Phil McNulty (I think) reckons he's got a chance but maybe a bit too inexperienced to influence a game at his age but will probably be a key feature by the next world cup.

Rodders is pretty much 1st team due to our injuries at the moment. He's only going to get better.

A fair few are saying arle Jags is could be pretty on his way too if he gets fit and back on form swift. Especially now that Lescott having a bit of a dip in form.

Im also a bit miffed when they talk about the left back cover. Ashley Cole's gonna go, but they're saying Wayne Bridge's place could be up...and they talk about Kieren Gibbs. Erm...Leighton Baines anyone? He's not even getting a mention.
