I was ill admit not looking forward to this season at all. I had a feeling of gloom but I think fellaini is gone so that will help Martinez I genuinely think he will bring in some decent players with the wedge he gets from fellaini sale and I have a sneaky suspicion that Baines will stay regardless of the story's coming out that he gas moved his children out of there present school..

Kone, Alcaraz and Martinez - two players and a manager from a team just relegated.
Not getting too depressed, but this does not fill me with hope or confidence either.

Just very nervous...

S**t team, s**t defense at Wigan, he's taken over the quality team that Moyes built and only has to tweak it to tactically and be more aggressive to improve us.

More importantly he won the FA cup as well.

http://www.worldfootball.net/sieger/eng-fa-cup/

Since our cup in 1995 till last year, Portsmouth were the only non top 6 club to win the FA cup and they spent so much to do it they went into administration. Wigans performance to win the cup last year should not be underestimated.

This season is one to be excited about.

Lets just get behind bobby and give him till Christmas atleast!! Don't get me wrong I am a bit worried bout Kone and Alcatraz coming in especially as Kone is 5 mill, and at the end of day he only scored 3 more goals than big vic!! We might aswell accept there will be no 30 mill marque signing but there is allways a few suprises over the summer and with a few more right additions we could potentially cause the top four some problems COYB

absolutely no idea why there are so many miserable negative ****s on forums.

We avent even kicked a ball yet and its thread after thread about how ****e were gonna be.

Insane!

How about we actually wait to see what happens, then get upset if were actually ****e. Im looking forward to this season more than i ever have. My little boy is 6 now and hes a proper blue and he has ignited my love for the club again.

Im looking forward to a positive manager who wants to play some serious football and im hoping to experience an away side getting a good hiding at GP.

Seriously, the negative ****e is getting really boring.

people seem to be concentrating on this relegation crap. How do UNited fans feel about losing the most successful manager ever and replacing him with a manager who won **** all but respect.

We are bigger than David Moyes and we have a manager who wants to win stuff.

Try to think that any player worth a wank was sold by Wigan instantly and RM had to try and rebuild a team almost every transfer window, certainly every summer.

For me thats why they were always poor to start while the 6/7 new players settled and then they came good after xmas. He wont need to worry about that at Everton.

Hes trying to do business early, be that players leaving or signing players to give them the absolute max time to gel to his style of play. Exactly why hes looking to bring in two players he knows and trusts.

Weve been given a pretty good start by the fixture list so we need to capitalis on that. Do people want us to turn into the ****e across the park like they were when they got cropper in to be their manager? pissing into the wind from day 1?

Never read the thread but can predict what it's about. Seen too many of these over the last few days.

We're going over the top, grab your gun or GTFO...this is

I'm very confident about the coming season, I think we will finish in a very similar position to last season.

It's a real shame so many people seem to think Moyes is/was the be all and end all of our club.

Hopefully their eyes will be opened during this coming season. Can't wait for it to start!

If I was a United supporter I'd be furious the board had hired Moyes as manager.

It's going to get really ugly there very soon for Moyes. Let's hope that Baines realises that too.

Ying and Yang. I think it's the antithesis to our lovable neighbours. They start every season with the deluded belief that they are going to challenge for the league, we start each season with the deluded belief that we are going to get relegated.
And yet neither ever happens.

Lets be honest though, even if Moyes does [Poor language removed] up and get sacked they're more likely to appoint a better manager, and they'll still be able to offer Baines more money and success than Everton ever will.

You really dislike Moyes don't you davek?

I do agree to a certain extent that it might get ugly for him but I really don't want him to succeed Ferguson in the same vein he finished his time as Man U manager.

I'm probably looking forward to playing Man U next season than the derbies. But I'll probably change my mind.

I'm hoping that under Martinez we do actually go out to win games more especially away at places like Old Trafford and Anfield.

As long as we keep the first XI and build from that then I'll be happy going into the new season, a couple of signings before the Austria Vienna game to bed them in would be good.

But we do need a very good CM, I'm sure Martinez has his targets. Feeling optimistic though.
