You have the right to hold and express those views, but the law states you can't use them to discriminate against or intimidate anyone.

There's no law against being a moron and nor should there be. You can't police people's thoughts.

In footballing terms, anyone against bringing him in - a genuine world class player - has a screw loose. He's still got two or three years of performing at an exceptionally high level too.

In my view yes, of course they should. People can hold whatever "beliefs" they want, however misguided or socially unacceptable others may view them.

Now if they were using these "beliefs" to actually discriminate against someone or to cause or incite harm against them, well that's an entirely different matter.
