I do see what you mean. A club takeover would help things...
It will quieten down again after the transfer window the melts usually rear their head for transfers and dissapear when theres football!

Sorry to admit this, but I doubt I will be posting as much as I have been. I can understand that some people get upset about the way things are going. But, it really grates when anyone that says anything positive or supportive get lambasted by the naysayers and the tide of negativity carries them stronger.
It would seem anything positive getting said makes the poster a target for effective bullying. I come to this site to support my club, not top read constant insults and violent threats being made.
Why are these people people being allowed to type threats about our club, players, and members of the staff with no comebacks. Anywhere else this would be classed as liable.
I had strips torn off me for defending Kenwright, I got called some crappy things, read my post in the Kenwright thread(as I have done in the past for info I have provided on transfers, and received no apologies when I was proven right, as an example), I am completely hacked off with people getting insulted when only half their post has been read. This is not an admin thing that can be sorted out, it is just the general attitude of a few have tarnished the enjoyment for the many. This needs clamping down on.
D&D and mods are doing a great job, I like and respect you all. This is not a goodbye, it is just raising a very valid point that others may not want to raise, due to the chance of being jumped on by the narrow minded bully boys. The type that will only be happy when EFC fail so they can say "I told you so", and never have the balls to say "I am sorry" when they are proven wrong.
i.e I am sorry for saying Everton are [Poor language removed] and will never sign anyone this time, and then keeping quiet when EFC break a transfer record.

gaz, i know what you mean about the negativity (a few more have jumped on board that train since the weekend), i've tried to stay as positive as possible and also tried to get people to understand that this will transfer onto the pitch, the tension will get to the players and with youngsters around the team then it's not exactly giving them confidence.
now the window is shut just avoid any of the threads that head in that direction, we all know who the abusive and negative people that you talk about are and tbh now the window is shut we can get on with supporting the team and just ignore them. it's all a bit kevin the teenager/ angry kid if you ask me.
lets get back to threads that talk nonsense, hijacking those that dont talk nonsense and promoting pastie worship across the globe.

gaz, this place would be so much poorer if you left or even stopped posting as much. i totally agree with the comment that if you even dare say you like kenwright then you can expect a kipper style response.
