Are you getting those figures directly from Hamas? They don't differentiate civilian casualties from terrorist ones, and they also use child soldiers in combat.

For the veneer of international respectability probably. If the loots too good, maybe not.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves though. I think it's important that we non-Americans make our voices heard and make it clear that we don't approve of any support of this.
