This documentary is from 2012 but i doubt that Hamas have changed the way they rule Gaza that much in the last thirteen years.

Yes, but the people voted for hamas as they were desperate for change - nothing else had worked to stop the land grabs and massacres, dialogue and violence were just met with more violence while the world looked on. Desperate measures and all that.

Hamas appear unwilling to give an inch on their stronghold. You would think that thy would at least be willing to talk to other Palestinian parties in an attempt to find unity somewhere.

If there was no Hamas running Gaza and attacking Israel, then there would be no need for military action from Israel in response.

Can you clarify the following for the record also?

Israel's military action has resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of civilians, displacement of hundreds of thousands, and as we saw on the news yesterday - the total destruction of entire towns.

Do you support that outcome as acceptable collateral damage?
