Israel had murdered hundreds of innocent Palestinians pre-October 7th 2023 and had thousands of Palestinian hostages, many children. You know they are at fault for all of this and to then kill 50,000++ more innocents and destroy the entire country is pure evil.

There are numerous peoples around the world who have as much justification for claiming a bit of land as their "home state" because of ancestral ties to the land - the Kurds are one that instantly spring to mind. Why should the Jews get one and not the Kurds, or the Matebele, or the Basques for instance?

Why do some people think it's ok for an American Jew to go and literally turf a Palestinian out of the home his great-great-grandfather built and take it for himself, based on a dubious claim that his ancestors might have lived in the region thousands of years ago? It's obscene.

This post is why people call you a racist. Yes, many Jewish people are indigenous to the land. Many, the vast majority according to repeated studies, of Palestinians are; many of them are descendants of people who were Jewish and/or Christian.

I have generally kept out of commenting on this thread as my knowledge on the history is very limited but this comment has piqued my interest as it does seem to me as absolutely ridiculous.

Let us say, that you get a knock on the door of your home. You open it to find that the people stood there are distant relatives of the people who used to live there. They want it 'back', saying it is their ancestral home. You could move into a friends house, or a family members house, and let them have it or do you tell them to do one and 'fight' for your right to live on the property that you legally own.

Maybe I am trivialising the point a bit too much but I feel that this is what you are getting at?
