Wow. Embarrassed to admit that I had no idea this happened;

It happened here in the UK too. The US had applied the Smith Act (Alien Registration) in 1940 partly in preparation for the detentions that would come.

This. It was the most stupid way to try and form two states, especially the link between Gaza and the West Bank. When Pakistan and India formed , it was mayhem, but at least the people could move to be on the side of the line they wanted to be….

We now must wonder why, in 1947, it was considered right and proper to create the state of Israel.
Who's decision was it to take a chunk of land in Palestine and give it to a bunch of central European migrants.
I'm sure that the indigenous population at that time weren't in favour.
It's never really worked out has it.

Ridiculous wasn't it. Cosying up to Zionists, less than 10% of the indigenous population was Jewish.
I suppose they were opposing the Ottoman at the time.

Videos I've unfortunately seen posted on Reddit: Young Israeli children locked in animal cages and Hamas fighters laughing at them; a Filipino worker mortally wounded to his stomach having his neck hacked at with a shovel; a young Israeli woman being kidnapped and driven off on a motorbike; a young German woman dead and being driven away and sat on by Hamas fighters. Probably only the tip of the iceberg, and these are all innocent people.

Would you have no sympathy for an ordinary family who get obliterated by a Hamas rocket or an Israeli missile because one or the other were ‘downtrodden’…this is nutters on both sides …..
