When you want innocent civilians hurt because they're not the innocent civilians you like then you should expect to be called out on it.

There are innocent Israelis and Palestinians in this conflict, just as there are innocent Russians and Ukrainians in that conflict. Civilians should not expect to be targeted.
I do not want to see anyone hurt, this is aimed at Russia as a whole. It is just a wake-up call as to their actions.

On Sunday morning, 13 October 2024, around 7:30 A.M., a settler carrying a handgun waited along the path that children from the al-Mehtiwish community walk to get to school in the Khan al-Ahmar community. When the children encountered him, he introduced himself as the guard of the settlement outpost recently established two months ago about 200 meters from the community of Khan al-Ahmar (the school). He stopped the six children from continuing and demanded they change the path they take to school, threatening that otherwise, dogs that would be released along the route would attack them. Community residents called the Israel Police. Police officers only arrived an hour or so later, and agreed with the settler that the children would be required to take a longer, rougher path to school.

Since the outpost was established, settlers have attacked children from the al-Mehtiwish community twice on their way to school, most recently on 2 October.

The Khan al-Ahmar school has 25 students between the ages of 5 and 15, from Khan al-Ahmar and from four other communities in the area: al-Mehtiwish, al-Ka’abneh, al-Hilu and Abu Falah. The children walk to school across rough terrain unsuitable for cars.

This is the sort of thing that is only very rarely shown here on the TV, and also why so many people who actually go and see the West Bank come back being convinced that the Palestinians deserve our support against the regime doing that to them.

Equally the media blackout from Gaza now.All journalists killed or banned, internet turned off and the Idf banned from filming and taking images due to the recent leaks showing their behaviour. The massacre in jabalia this week getting zero coverage anywhere.

I think a lot of their backers would/will be horrified and embarrassed to learn the truth

We all saw this coming 👀- further genocidal behaviour

Right-wing Israeli activists call for renewed settlement in Gaza
Right-wing Israeli activists gathered to call for renewed Jewish settlement in Gaza.
Hundreds of right-wing and ultranationalist Israelis took part in a conference today about reestablishing Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Strip has been devastated by Israel's offensive since the 7 October attack by Hamas on Israel, with the majority of Gaza's population displaced as much of the enclave faces a humanitarian crisis.
The conference, held near the Israel-Gaza border, attracted a number of prominent politicians - including some from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's own Likud party, such as national security minister Itamar Ben Gvir.

Since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, the movement to resettle Gaza has crept from the extreme far-right fringes of Israeli politics into more mainstream discourse among Mr Netanyahu's right-wing coalition.
Mr Netanyahu himself has publicly dismissed the idea in the past but has yet to provide clarity on who he sees governing Gaza after the war.
Some of his government allies, however, have been explicit about their own preferred outcome.
"If we want it, we can renew settlements in Gaza," Mr Ben Gvir told the hundreds who gathered for a two-day outdoor conference titled 'Preparing To Resettle Gaza,' held about 3km (2 miles) from the enclave.
Mr Ben Gvir also called for Israel to "encourage emigration" of Palestinians from Gaza, adding: "It's the best and most moral solution."
Smoke could be seen rising in Gaza and the loud bangs of artillery sounded in the distance, as the conference went on.
The military forcibly evacuated Jewish settlements from Gaza in 2005, a move that bred resentment towards the state among many of the settlers who now seek to return.
