I've just read a post on FB by an Israeli friend of mine who has been displaced by Hezbollah, about how everyone's mad at each other and she's scared, and how important it is for friends to just put a reassuring arm around each other at the moment. She grew up on a Moshav near the Lebanese border, and is currently living near Be'er Sheba, wondering when she might go home and get on with her life. Two young kids. NGL it made me well sad. She's been on the streets protesting against Netanyahu, and some of the posts she makes about the remaining hostages are pretty grim, some of them are so young..
It's important not to dehumanise people, whatever side they're on.
