How does it end with Hamas? Why do you think that? It might give Israelis peace. It won't give it to Palestinians.

Will Israel suddenly dismantle the settlements in the West Bank?

Will the Palestinians be granted full statehood with East Jerusalem as their capital?

Will there be a deal on Palestinian right of return for the refugees in Jordan, Lebanon etc?

Will it get rid of other Palestinian militant groups like Islamic Jihad?

Will the new Palestinian leadership recognise Israel's right to exist within its 1967 "borders", as Arafat's PLO did?

Will an agreement on land swaps in exchange for Israel keeping the large settlement blocs be reached?

So many other issues too.

It didn't start with Hamas and it won't end with the end of Hamas.

This is such a slam dunk of an ethical stance, it would really take a complete f***ing moron to fumble it as you and some others have. Furthermore:

  • The end result of this won't be less extremism. The mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, cousins and friends of the tens of thousands of men, women and children indiscriminately maimed and murdered will not view Israel as liberators. A simpleton could see this
  • The vast majority of the people killed by the IDF have not been Hamas.
  • The answer to Hamas using children as human shields isn't to shoot through children.
Again, this is simple stuff.

Seen as I'm on ignore prevenger won't see this.. it would appear that Hamas can do what they want to Isreal as they should be granted immunity because they hide behind civilians.. kill civilians in Isreal run off and hide behind your own civilians and Isreal can't do anything. Is that really what we are looking for here? And apparently I'm the crazy one for suggesting that Hamas tactics have added greatly to the death toll... 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

If a gunman took your family hostage, would you accept the police executing them all because the gunman hid behind them?

You lack compassion for people who have no say in what is happening to them.

Egypt can't just assimilate thousands of Palestinians with no chance of them ever returning to their country.

Likewise, Palestinians shouldn't have to just accept losing their homes and motherland.

If a gunman executed your family should he be granted immunity because he fled and hid behind another family?

No. But you don't keep killing families with the belief that once they are all dead, the gunman will have nowhere left to hide.

But that isn't what is really happening. What is really happening is that a right wing government is using a despicable terrorist attack to wipe out a population of people they've been trying to get rid of for years, because they believe they have always had a claim to the land.
