and the return of the hostages hopefully yes.
So Israel will release the palastinian prisoners in return? It's nice to see this finally coming to an end

Brilliant, followed by return of lands stolen over 80 years…. Yeh, thought not.and the return of the hostages hopefully yes.

Disgrace

Israel just released classified information that the six hostages who were executed were the ones used as a human shield by Sinwar for months.
After the rescue of Farhan al-Qadi, Sinwar left the tunnel where the hostages were being kept. Their physical condition no longer allowed them to be moved around, and Sinwar believed his best chance was to move swiftly from place to place. Not long after, Hamas executed them when the IDF was getting close. The destruction of much of the tunnel system also meant he had to hide above ground.
So in your eyes Sinwar dying doesn't make some form of peace with a future state more possible? Odd take.
To take your most commonly used word, you shill for Hamas. Is today not a good day for Gaza?

... but the claims that he was surrounded by hostages (and carried 25kg of explosives with him) were from after those hostages were killed?
No they found his DNA where those hostages were killed.
Israel has killed three other Hamas leaders, two of whom died before this war began. Did any of those killings result in peace, or did they result in a stronger and more capable Hamas?
Again - those claims he was surrounded by hostages were from after those hostages were killed.
I'm sure there has been a deal over the last six months that Sinwar could have accepted but has chosen not to (likewise Bibi). Hopefully now a deal is made if a moderate takes control in Gaza / Hamas are so eradicated that more hostages are released.

This article from February shows you are wrong. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2024/02/26/sinwar-hamas-tunnels-israel-gaza/
Last time I checked February 2024 pre-dated October 2024. You said the claims that he was underground with hostages only came about post six hostages being killed.
I will try and make this as easy as possible for you to understand, and will include your timeline from the posts above:
Feb 2024 - WP reports that Israeli agencies say Sinwar is in tunnels surrounded by hostages
late August 2024 - six hostages killed, IDF recovers bodies and DNA from Sinwar
October 2024 - multiple outlets report a Shin Bet spokesperson saying that Sinwar had surrounded himself with “at least 20 hostages. A few times we have had the chance to kill him, but if we do, he will kill all the hostages around him,”
If the Israelis knew the hostages killed in August 2024 were his human shields as you say, then why were they still making claims he was surrounded by hostages a month after that?
Also please can you not pretend what was said on a message forum? I did not say "he was underground with hostages only came about post six hostages being killed", at all. What I said is easily available on this very page and it didnt contain the words "underground" or "only".
Israel do not want a two state solution - they want total destruction as is clearly evident.I'm sure there has been a deal over the last six months that Sinwar could have accepted but has chosen not to (likewise Bibi). Hopefully now a deal is made if a moderate takes control in Gaza / Hamas are so eradicated that more hostages are released.
