Resistance to occupation and oppression is, imo fully justified.

Iran used mainly Ballistic missiles. Iron Dome is not designed to counter this threat. They use Davids Sling/Arrow/Patriot to counter ballistic threats but looks like they got overwhelmed tonight.

For a long time, I took the enlightenment view that we are rational actors.

The wording always makes out that Israel are the victims. It will all be about rockets fired AT Israel tomorrow not the 12 months and tens of thousands of missiles they’ve dropped on children

That’s one take, but you could also ask whether Britain is using human shields because the headquarters of MI5 and MI6 are both in London.

It’s false equivalence. The biggest issue here is that Israel is going to go at Iran, and got at it hard. How the escalation unfolds is a worry.
