Well no, I mean if you blow the bus you know there is a chance kids / women / civilians are walking past but do it anyway.

These were pagers issued to Hezbollah members by Hezbollah, it might be a war crime but I don’t think it is as obviously one as everything that has been happening in Gaza since Oct. 7th.

I mean, if the IDF had done this and injured 2000 Hamas + 500 civilians then they probably wouldn’t be up before the ICJ and ICC. Obviously they’ve killed upwards of 40000 people, including tens of thousands of women and kids whilst chatting wham about genocide so they are rightly facing international justice.

I know very little about the laws of war, but this appears to be either targeted warfare or acts from one terrorist organization against another. Extremely prejudicial, minimal collateral damage.

It clearly is, at least according to the IHRA definition;

“Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.”

He was not doing that and the context of his sentence is also important here. It is a fact that the majority of Jews are Zionists, and the context was linked to a Labour supporting forum, where Labour have had their well-publicised issues in the past. As a Jew, not antisemitic for me.

What if those cops or soldiers are walking around their local shop or in the pub etc. There was no way of only targeting the owner of the pager. It's about as discriminate as putting a device under someone's family car.
