I think it's perhaps because the way Israel has forced the Palestinians to live in the West Bank is somewhat reminiscent of the Nazi ghettos, and because Israel is currently committing genocide in Gaza, and because of the racist and genocidal language used by many right-wing Israelis, including several members of the government.
It's an unhelpful and inaccurate comparison, and deeply offensive to Jewish people. There has never been a deliberate and systematic attempt to exterminate a people comparable to the Holocaust. It's easy enough to criticise Israel's actions without using it.
Nobody is saying Jewish people are acting like Nazis though, it is absolutely acceptable to accuse a state of it irregardless of religion.
Offending a state or people who support a state who is murdering children and actively engaged in attempted genocide doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I agree that the Nazi comparison is very offensive to Jewish people, and i have never personally used this comparison, Nazi's were obviously a political party so the comparisons should against the Israeli government and not members of the public.
What is happening here a lot though, is criticism of the government has somehow turned in criticism of the nation, to a whole religion in one swoop for no real reason so anything against a government is now antisemitic.
the Iranian, for eg, government has right been criticised for a long time but that doesn't mean all of its critics are Islamophobic and i don't see many people accusing the critics of being that in the same way as they are with israel. Obviously some are, but its not them same blanket phrase that there currently is with the Israeli government

One of the things that doesnt get mentioned enough on here is how keen the Israeli right has been to keep pushing its agenda even whilst calling for unity - not only in terms of repeatedly sabotaging negotiations, in further corrupting the police, in boosting settler violence or attacking their enemies via client media.
Just today, the Israeli justice minister lost (in Court) in an attempt to hold off appointing a new head of the Supreme Court until he can make sure that the next guy isnt a "liberal". He of course said that the Court decision was illegal. Meanwhile a strike by teachers looks like it may be called off - they were striking because the government wants to move to individual contracts for teachers (rather than collective bargaining as happens now and happens nearly everywhere else in state sector education).

Israel aren't targeting Hamas. They are indiscriminately bombing anyone they can and have murdered thousands of kids. They are bombing schools and they are bombing hospitals. Nazis.

There are current ministers in the coalition government that have said the Palestinians aren't a real people(sound familiar?), have given talks with maps showing the end goal of the greater Kingdom of Israel which doesn't include Jordan the Gaza strip or the West Bank(Reich talk), have continually broken either cease fire agreements or peace negotiations in favour of indiscriminate bombing of densely populated areas and have quoted the likes of the book of Deuteronomy which is a blood thirsty divinely justified to do list for the obliteration or total enslavement of a people. I heard a former minister accuse a Channel 4 reporter of 'holocaust denialism' because he asked him who else besides the IDF has verified that there was a Hamas tunnel system under a particular hostipal they obliterated

Indeed. That horror Katz was interviewed earlier today, apparently setting the scene for an attack on Hezbollah but in reality letting everyone know that the blow will fall on the Lebanese. Another Likud politician was claiming that a part of Beirut long associated with Hezbollah would end up like Gaza.
The sooner the pro-Israeli crowd here understand that supporting a friend is often not the same as supporting everything that friend does, the better.
