Seems as though the issue of Palestine has played a big role at the DNC in America, leading to Kamala Harris doing some orchestrated virtue signalling about helping Palestinians. I suspect she will be another liberal hawk if elected. What do others on here think?
While trump is completely abominable I have deep reservations about her.

I share your suspicions as to how much she would really do to stand up for innocent Palestinians - no benefit in doing that you know.

I despair that a country with such a large population can repeatedly come up with poor candidates for Head of State.

The issue is, she cannot do it BEFORE the election.

I'm sickened by the war on Gaza.
As an Irish person it's kinda ingrained in me to oppose occupational oppression.
As an American, I'm sickened by what our tax dollars and elected reps are doing
but, what's even more frustrating is that, given the system we have, there isn't a whole lot that we can do about it until November.
Harris simply has to win, for the sake of everyone as far as I'm concerned.
So mass protests including civil disobedience wont help her campaign at the moment.

As for Harris as a candidate, I dont agree with a lot of what she says, but she's very good.
A first generation immigrant, a black woman who became California DA, then Senator, then VP, and now running for president. She's clear, articulate, and intelligent. And she has the ability to reach numerous different parts of American society.

Whether you agree with her on everything or not, she's definitely not a poor candidate.
