Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

The article above with the letter from medics to Biden stating the death toll is more like 92,000 or over 4% of the pre war Gaza population.

It cites the high number of pre-teen kids with head-shots inflicted by the courageous IDF snipers.

But some say this is not genocide.
Joe Biden is a pathological liar, his first campaigns for President stalled because of lies about his personal life he told to big himself up.

He told the press he'd seen images of babies beheaded by Hamas - it turned out this never happened, so how did he see images of it? The only beheadings that have been recorded are by the IDF.

In the years he was a Senator he told the Senate if Israel didn't exist, the US would have to invent an Israel to protect US interests in the region. He called Israel "the biggest bang for our buck". In his years in the Senate he took more in donations as a Senator from pro-Israel donors than anyone else. Considerably more I should add.

He's Genocide Joe for a reason. For somebody apparently going senile he's still remarkably able to convey horrific views.

Israeli civilian population being severely impacted by rocket attack and terrorism - also Israeli assets abroad targeted.

It's a Pandora's Box they wont want opened up.
The former of which they have been subjected to in the North since October 8th. Hezbollah would have to seriously increase the volume and power of their rockets for a 'snotting'. I suspect the US will also be far more involved in a Hezbollah/other Iranian linked attack given their direct route back to Iran.

I expect a harsh strategic air response from Israel in Lebanon, similar to what happened in Yemen.

They might do, but there'll be no ground offensive.

What would equate to a snotting?
People with actual weapons fighting back instead of Palestinian children throwing stones.
I don't think there's an appetite from the majority of Israelis for an escalation that will see a lot more casualties on their side.
I think there is a growing resentment towards Netanyahu's bloodlust that has tirned Israel and its people into a pariah state.

Why on earth would such a lawless, violent country, where literally anything goes with regards violence against their hosts, authorise this?

Weird
There could be a few reasons. Firstly, any successful military is grounded in good order and discipline, and that's where the role of the provost comes in to place.

Also, in terms of international opinion, I suspect they'll hope a few tokenistic convictions may go some way to show they aren't as heartless as we see them to be.

There is amazing amounts of evidence showing the IDF in very poor light when it comes to order and discipline - unless off course their orders were to kill innocent women and kids for much of the last 70 years..

I don't know if you follow the former Major General Charlie Herbert on twitter, but to his credit he has been pointing out the lack of discipline in the IDF in this war for a long time now.

It’s hard reading his stuff, he holds no punches.

I just pray there is the outcome we all need to see for the Israeli regime

The evidence he shares makes feel there is no chance they get away with it
