Current Affairs Israel is an apartheid state

I respect you and your opinions. I don't support any genocide. I don't even like Netanyahu, but Israel have every right to protect and defend themselves.

That's my honest opinion. I agree that Netanyahu is a problem but the other problem is that Gaza is under the control of terrorist's.

While that situation continues to be so then peace is very unlikely. I don't see the IDF as terrorists. I see them as people who's job is to protect and defend Israel and to keep the real terrorist's Hamas in check.
I think the upshot here is following the atrocities of October 7th Israel had every right to respond.

They had the capabilities and resources to track down all those responsible for the attacks and either kill or capture them in a series of planned surgical operations. It would’ve taken a long time but they could have done it.

However Netanyahu chose an alternative path, destroy Gaza and kill anyone in their way - real wrath of god stuff.

That’s why the majority of posters here take offence at your stance. Yes Israel has a right to defend itself but it has no right to impose genocide on the Palestinian people.

You do know that the IDF grew out of the self described terrorist paramilitary groups, the Irgun and The stern gang? The same lads that bombed the King David Hotel and killed British servicemen, jointly responsible for the massacre in Deir Yassin, not to mention the assassination of Lord Moyne. Might want to think on that before going on about 'Real Terrorists' and conscientious lads doing an honest job, have you seen some of the videos the ghouls have posted? while you're thinking anout that, can you explain the continued erosion of Palestinian land, the murders, administrative detentions without trial in the illegally occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, pre and post Oct 7th, where Hamas has no jurisdiction.

So Hamas are good is it? Get down off the stage lad.

As for this bit well i don't approve of all of it, but nonetheless Israel has every right to defend itself within reasonable means.
Hamas isnt in the West Bank or East Jerusalem. Gaza is seperate, please tell me you understand this. Which bit of illegal occupation don't you understand? Not to mention the illegal settlements and the repeated breaking of international law. Speaking of which, Palestinians have the right to armed resistance under international law, as Israel are the occupiers.
The history and origins of the IDF in it's earlier forms mean nothing. It is accepted by organisations like the UN and NATO etc as a legitimate army.

Hamas on the other hand as far as i'm aware are not.
Is this the same UN that declares the occupation illegal, the blockade illegal and the settlements illegal? You may have a point.

I'll ask again, where did I say Hamas is good? What's your opinion on the other resistance groups?

Which resistance groups? I've already answered to someone else that i don't see the IDF as terrorists.

Israel backed the massacres in Sabra and Shatila as far back as 1982. It was this atrocity which made me change my views of previous support for Israel - they stood back and happily watched their friends massacre innocent civilians....

One of the worst atrocities of the Lebanese civil war, a massacre took place from 16 to 18 September 1982 in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps in southern Beirut. Christian Phalange militias carried out a massacre of Palestinian refugees. They roamed the camps murdering, raping and torturing hundreds of Palestinian refugees, Shia women, men and children. The Israeli army, which was occupying Beirut at the time and surrounded the camps, looked on as their allies went on their brutal rampage.
