I think the upshot here is following the atrocities of October 7th Israel had every right to respond.I respect you and your opinions. I don't support any genocide. I don't even like Netanyahu, but Israel have every right to protect and defend themselves.
That's my honest opinion. I agree that Netanyahu is a problem but the other problem is that Gaza is under the control of terrorist's.
While that situation continues to be so then peace is very unlikely. I don't see the IDF as terrorists. I see them as people who's job is to protect and defend Israel and to keep the real terrorist's Hamas in check.
They had the capabilities and resources to track down all those responsible for the attacks and either kill or capture them in a series of planned surgical operations. It would’ve taken a long time but they could have done it.
However Netanyahu chose an alternative path, destroy Gaza and kill anyone in their way - real wrath of god stuff.
That’s why the majority of posters here take offence at your stance. Yes Israel has a right to defend itself but it has no right to impose genocide on the Palestinian people.
