Exactly!Israel will fully expect a response from Iran, and when attacking the embassy it will have been a part of their strategic planning.
If they expected a response that was beyond what they can politically accept or currently could counter with their resources, they wouldn't have done the attack.
Likewise, Iran will do the very same when planning their response. Neither party will want this to turn into an actual full-blown shooting war - it's a game of chess.
Lots of stuff and bluster from both sides. Hez and other Iranian proxies will launch an attack/series of attacks on Israel (military / govt) targets. However Iron Dome, David’s sling and US patriot/THAAD missile defence systems are a match for anything that can be thrown at them.
I also noted yesterday that Israel made a point of moving their Jericho 3 IRBM nukes to their launch sites in the Negev, however they did this in broad daylight. You don’t move your nukes around during the day unless you want somebody to see what you’ve got.
