These governments are being pressured by their own populations which are pro Palestinians.

It’s not that they have developed a conscious but looking after their interest, how ever it also exposes the west in the harsh light of hypocrisy

That’s why I think the final decision might be a “no”, at least partially in terms of the numbers dead.

It’s the speech that will doom the Israeli case in the short term though, I mean you can argue the acts all you like but what has been said is clear.

Indeed. Those supporters of South Africa are accidentally on the right side for pure expedience. But at least it's the right side. Look at the state of the Germans and the Americans...the two most important Western states. I despair.

Yup. They can massage the technicalities and definitions all they like, but people have read and heard the words of pure evil. One would need to be willfully blind - like the Germans and the Americans - to deny what is taking place.

Sometimes good people do bad and bad people do good.

The main difference is good people try to do good and correct themselves if they are shown to be doing wrong even if tgey were acting in good faith.

If the UK doesn't correct itself and do its best to stop the slaughter of innocent civilians then it can be considered only to get amongst the bad. We can support Israel's efforts against Hammas and innocent Palestinians' rights and safety without any contradiction.

Do better Westminster.
