Given that Palestine has a media blackout of sorts and the media have maintained a largely pro Israel stance in their actions from their words used, to the focus on what is happening, how can anyone believe anything we are being told? It works both ways as we saw with Ukraine and the level of propaganda being reported against Russia at the start of that conflict so not every Palestine viewpoint is reliable either. But from a general media point of view , how trustworthy is the information? If Israel bomb 100 Palestinians , women and children because they say there was a terrorist hiding there, can you trust that account for example?

TBF the difference between Ukraine-Russia and Israel-Palestine is that there is a lot of information in the latter that is consciously left out of reporting, even though its easily available.

For example, after the march finished yesterday a small group of people went by the Riverside pub in Vauxhall and projected onto a wall a Zoom talk by someone who'd visited all over the West Bank over a number of years, and took loads of photos. This talk basically consisted of describing the illegal settlements, the watchtowers and separation wall and the checkpoints on al-Khalil (Hebron), Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Abu Dis and other places.

I know about the settlements, the watchtowers, the wall and the checkpoints and they are often mentioned in news reporting, journalism and political speeches - but until yesterday I've not really seen how the system operates and what it looks like as a whole. By themselves walls, checkpoints and so on are easy to explain away as defensive measures (and indeed they are), but together it is blatantly obvious what they are.

What are western leaders outside of America so afraid of with the Jewish faith, of Israel themselves? I have a friend who in complete conspiracy fashion would always claim the Jewish run the world and based on the last month , he doesn't sound as crazy as he used to be given his much influence is being exerted it seems.

I saw someone say that without Israel in the Middle East China and Russia would control most of the world's oil. Presumably the idea being they could cut it off. In that context it makes a lot more sense that the West would blindly defend Israel - it's mainly self interest
 
Braverman is pushing 'hate marches', as an excuse, in order to halt any protests, assemblies, and with legislation to curtail strikes. It's the Tories 2023 version of Germany's 1933 Enabling Act. These measures are the go to for right wing extremist governments.

It was an odd sort of 'hate march' against Jews, yesterday
