Erdogan has been improving relations with almost everyone lately.
lead by donkeys remember. Something has to give with israel, besides the fact collective punishment is against international law and the rest of it, has it not occurred to them they're an even easier target with less non-israelis in their midst? surely there is a way to satisfy their thirst for revenge with some fight to be had with a near neighbour.
expecting them to call cease fire with attacks still occurring and hostages still held is futile. this is the very basics of politics, they aint backing down from the position of advantageous destruction they hold whilst receiving nothing in return. its noble to hope and wish for their understanding and humanity, but please don't hold your breath. who can be made to suffer israels wrath that isn't palestine?

“EU calls for pause in fighting.” The latest headline. What fighting? They’re making it sound like it’s trench warfare when in reality it’s one of the strongest military’s on the planet blowing loads of innocent people to kingdom come. The media have been abhorrent throughout.

President criticises von der Leyen over Israel comments
President Michael D Higgins has strongly criticised the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen for comments on the Middle East conflict which she made on a visit to Israel last Friday.
Which prompted the Israeli ambassador to Ireland to knee jerk, criticising the President for being misinformed. Coveney, a Government Minster responded:
