A rather unfortunate article in tone I feel.

I don't disagree that anyone cheering Hamas' actions are bad bell ends, but it feels rather broad brush and a way of castigating all 'liberals' as hating jews in some way.

Not helpful for debate and engagement in my view. It's the Telegraph though, for a so called highbrow paper it really lacks nuance or subtlety at times.
Author of that article btw:

Stuff like this isn't helpful either.

Then Ben Jamal going on Politics Live to support the Palestian cause by refusing to condemn people wearing pictures of the paragliders symbolic of last weeks massacre and instead suggesting that someone had stuck them on without their knowledge!

Triggered people are not helpful, we need calm empathetic voices looking for a common ground.

The idiots who run things are sadly only interested in unity when it’s us agreeing with them; when we don’t agree with them we are the ones in the wrong.

Speaking of which:

Yeah, I've noticed your parody accounts fascination. 🤏
I'm just laughing at the call for non-triggering contributions and level headedness from you...given that you're like...

...on the Ukraine thread.

You utter prankster.

lol

Brilliant speech...I wonder if she had Starmer in mind when she said she viewed with concern European leaders wanting to ban people expressing support for the Palestinians.

He's sent out his boot boy Dave Evans today to threaten LP members with expulsion if they assemble for any demonstration in support of the Palestinians - you know, the ones getting wiped out or thrown out of Gaza....and he's cheered on btw by utter 'kin frauds like Paul Mason the 'Marxist'.

There's a special place in hell for that lot.

"Israel-Hamas war: UK could be complicit in Gaza war crimes, Tory MP warns | World News | Sky News" https://news.sky.com/story/israel-h...cit-in-gaza-war-crimes-tory-mp-warns-12984255

I know that is what the headline said, but that is not what Blunt said (emphasis added):

Mr Blunt told Sky News he is "not sure [his] colleagues have grasped the legal peril they are in" and "everyone must act to restrain people" if they know war crimes are going to happen.

"If you know that a party is going to commit a war crime - and this forcible transfer of people is a precise breach of one of the statutes that governs international law and all states in this area - then you are making yourself complicit," he said.

The legal responsibility here falls on the person committing the crime, not the country they (badly) lead.

I once was at a meeting to select a prospective Parliamentary candidate with Mason, he turned up with an entourage and everything.

His candidate lost, mine won.

;)

He's been hawking himself around safe seat constituencies for the last 2 years begging to get on the slate but losing handily every time he does.

The name Judas is too weak for such filth.

He wasn’t one of the candidates, he was supporting Katy Clark.
