Is the Championship that bad?

Yep, its that bad, an absolute rats nest, you can spend years down there, there are far better run clubs then us down there and the hit wed take holistically is massive.

Well they have been winning most weeks and have been in the top few spots all season. Next season when they are in the prem getting spanked every other week they won`t be enjoying it.
This might seem alien to us, but I know fans of Sheffield United who want to go down and not come back up again. When was the last time we actually enjoyed a season of football? They're becoming fewer and further apart. We're all being conned into thinking the Premier League is the best league in the world ©️

This is as bad as it is right now imo. It's like those Tories who point at empty shelves and massive unemployment and say 'well imagine how bad it would be under Labour'

Life in the Premier League is a joyless experience. We have doubled down on being so scared and so safe that we're afraid to even open the front door in case something bad happens.

Everton aren't we?

Let's hope Netflix rock up and we can emulate Sunderland, or do it properly by getting relegated 3 times instead of just the 2. The Everton way...

Championship would be a cake walk for us. If we wasn’t in such a financial mess and had leaders at the club. We would sell all our best players which let’s be honest we wouldn’t care, however that could only be to keep the lights on and stop the EFL from giving us more points deductions. We probably couldn’t buy decent players to mount a promotion push.

Not being arrogant but by the fact that we’ve not been outside of the top division for years, means that for a lot of clubs we’ll be their cup final, every week. And then the yo-yo clubs will want to stick it to us as well. It’s a massive ask for a squad to play at their top level every week. (Any magic inhalers?)

There could be a real danger that our transfer strategy could backfire and we’d be in the lower half of the division.

We are pretty much buggered for a few years regardless of what league we are in.

After about 5 years of suffering this sh*te I just want to enjoy watching us again and tbh dont care what league we are in.

Saying that I've just renewed my season ticket for the last time so it doesn't matter to me now as much as it does to others.

Footy certainly aint what it was so I'm happy to push it down my life's priorities list!

We don't have to concern ourselves with the Championship, we're not getting relegated ;)
Really? Where's our next win (or even point) coming from?

The Championship itself isn't the worst thing in the world but relegation, combined with our financial situation, could very well be the end of the club as we know it. I have no idea how we will continue to finance this club if we stay up, if we go down it looks completely impossible to me.
