Is now the opportunity? Should Everton go for Iraola?

Well, we could well be 14th this time next week...

Yeah, but I don't go along with the idea that people will clap along to another bottom half finish next season just because the manager is new. Whoever comes in would get a bit of patience but by Christmas the knives would be out.

Good, there should be standards.

Top half in this league is not an unreasonable expectation if people are doing their jobs properly.

What I will say is that none of Keane, Tarkowski, Mykolenko, McNeil, Beto or Barry would be any use whatsoever in an Iraola system. Not even as backups, they’d all need to be binned.

The defence especially would be out of their depth. You won't find 4 players in the league more awkward on the ball than the ones who started across our back line today.

Bournemouth's net spend over 5 years is £151m. That makes them the 12th highest spenders over the past 5 years and they're currently sitting 6th with lowest possible 8th. On that metric they're overperforming.

I guess the question is, given the number they sold in the summer, how much of their marginal over-performance compared to their net spend is down to Ireola?
DM - 100 million spent - plus add on's - Barry utterly useless - Dibling - a ghost - a left back he fell out with - Grealish on loan expensive un lucky with injury - but crap happens - then one great buy Dewsbury Hall best signing , but Rhol looks very good hardly seen him & George on loan hardly used ???????

HA should have never been sent out on loan - DM more interested in PNE - so send him back there .....
