Is Jadon Sancho the best English talent since Rooney ?

Just watched 1st half in the Ingurland v USA game, 1st time I've watched him and my initial conclusion is, no wonder Lookman wanted to play in Germany. Is he really better than Lookman?

You'd have to say he probably is. You're basing that opinion of 45 mins of football. Sancho's been producing the goods since the back end of last season on a regular basis not just in Germany but also in Europe and against some quality opposition. Lookman is 2-3 years older and is further back in his development. No disrespect to Lookman, I like him.

I also recall Lookman producing the goods in Germany 2nd half of last season and him also being one of the best player in the World Cup winning team.
I just wonder if Sancho has become the new media darling based on him playing regularly in the Bundesliga.

He's definitely ahead of Lookman at the moment, he's put in top performances against top teams. Lookman hasn't had a stand out game in the Premier League yet whereas Sancho has looked the part numerous times. I think Lookman has huge potential as well.

Bit unfair to label him a media darling. He's been considered a top talent in his age group for years. But yeah maybe if Lookman had had that amount of playing time then he could get to that level.

Another thing about Sancho @onlyme is that whenever he's been put up a level, he's taken it in his stride and produced the goods instantly. First Bundesliga, then Champions League, now international, contributing with goals and assists straight away and looking like he belongs. I don't think you can say the same for Lookman.

Well he's produced the goods in Bundesliga, international football and I would argue that his cameos in the EPL have also looked decent albeit with limited opportunities. Unfortunately we're not in the Champions league so you can't make a comparison.

His titty lip isn’t in the same class as Lookman’s.

If Lookman has sorted his attitude out then he may be something special.

Man City fans crying about “Foden being much better” is making me chuckle. How do they even know how good Foden is, he never plays lol

Sour grapes all round.

He'll probably get loaned out to Girona soon
I 100% agree with you there - I hope he makes the move to the Bundesliga, or Serie A to get that game time
Why would he? He's playing for the club he supports, being coached by the best manager in the world, training and learning from some of the best players in the world, getting plenty of minute in the Prem, starts in the cups and some champions league games, he's just signed a new contract paying him a cracking wage, and hes only just turned 18. Why would he want or even need to leave?
