Sterling is very close to becoming legitimately world class.

He's already there mate. He isn't up with Messi and Ronaldo and he never will be, but he is still world class now. As is Harry Kane. His link play is tremendous. I doubt there is any national team in the world that wouldn't have them both as first choice starters.

To me world class means gets in any team anywhere in the world. He's close without doubt.

I don’t think I could name a team Sterling wouldn’t get into comfortably to be honest. I think he’s phenomenal. I also that he’s a inspiration and incredibly mentally strong given the abuse he’s had his entire career.
