He might have to leave for his own sake as he doesn't get a fair crack of the whip from a lot of fans, i don't think i have ever seen a player under so much scrutiny at everton before. He gets slaughtered every time he makes the smallest of mistakes but Stones was allowed to do what he wanted in his own six yard box and was defended to the hilt by many.

If Ross Barkley turns out to be a stronger and faster version of Osman and stays at Everton his whole career would that be so bad?
No but the problem with Barkley is that for a couple of seasons he has been one of the reasons we haven't signed a No 10. In fact I believe Martinez even said this regarding why we didn't go for Payet.

Having a local lad like Barkley in the squad is great. I'm looking forward to Davies coming through as well but we also need to do what is best for the club.

Now I'm not saying we should sell Barkley because he still has the potential to be a top player but we shouldn't be putting all our eggs in the Ross Barkley basket.

I thought we did go for Payet and lost to West Ham because #london

Just wait for Rom to go through a dry spell, then they'll jump ship to moan about him again.

Funny you should say that haha!
If we are trying to press from the front, I don't see why it's ok that Rom doesn't do it but, that's ok. Whereas Ross doesn't and he's a lazy £$^%?
Maybe, it just highlights that Koeman is asking the players to do different things that sometimes, take longer to sink in with different types of players?

Well.the guy is an immense talent.if he isn't playing well for the team right now u drop him and work out whats wrong.u dont just sell your home grown greats.anyone who thinks he should be sold have short and very small minds.
