Now you are talking rubbish, your final paragraph is delusional.
Never presume you know more about management techniques or business ownership or being a football coach, I hold a badge have been a MD
and owned my own business, now my first game I watched was the 1946 cup final and seen all the great players post-war and Barkley is on page 976 of good players.
If Barkley ever reaches his so-called potential I will give my season ticket away and stop making the 200 mile round I make on average to watch Everton.
Do not hold your breath.
I repeat only Martinez persevered if his so called are so good why has he been binned by other managers.

Where did I presume to know more about management techniques coaching or business ownership than you.

Did you only see anything in last nights game that Barkley isn't capable off.

Last Christmas sky had a half season special programme on & carragher who is very underhand & biased against us put him in the team ahead of payet.

He was also on the shortlist for young player of the year last year.

He has been poor ever since the West Ham game. It's far too early to write him off yet.

He's started in every game under Koeman bar Man City.

Since you hold a coaching badge then I'd be interested to know your thoughts on Roy's 'we're using Barkley as a pretend Gareth Bale in training because he's our only direct player' quote from the Euros... And then tell me that you agree with that clueless flange for him not picking Barkley as opposed to any of the other tosh on show for the national team.

Big Sam's 61 day cameo speaks for itself. Gareth Southgate is the dampest flannel in football.

Martinez may have lauded Barkley too much, and you can be sure Koeman won't stand for that. But Barkley is a class act who has it all.

Yes, he has a long way to go and yes, he's got to improve his form and only he can do that. But this type of negativity doesn't help.

A lot of things beggar belief on this forum don't they mate

So after watching 70+years worth of footy, you're going to stop going if one of your own teams players becomes great?

He might have to leave for his own sake as he doesn't get a fair crack of the whip from a lot of fans, i don't think i have ever seen a player under so much scrutiny at everton before. He gets slaughtered every time he makes the smallest of mistakes but Stones was allowed to do what he wanted in his own six yard box and was defended to the hilt by many.

If Ross Barkley turns out to be a stronger and faster version of Osman and stays at Everton his whole career would that be so bad?

Sums Evertonians up that you've got some praising Niasse for being 'thoroughly professional', yet in the same breath we've got others claiming we should ship off the best talent the club has produced in 15 years.
