Couldn't care less about cashing in because his value will drop.

He will 100% be at the very least a good squad player for us if he stays for the rest of his career. At the very least, And I'm perfectly fine with that. I think most fans actually care about having a blue in the team, it is important to many people despite the image the moaning booing fools in the crowd give.

Last season Barkley had the most goals & assists combined of any English midfielder. He is in a run of poor form, Koeman has tried playing him through it and now has taken him out of the firing line; he will come back a better player.

Any talk of selling him is ridiculous

Two reasoned, sensible posts in a row... What's happening to GOT!?

Sell

Let's just sell him and keep playing Cleverly. Ffs
One of the best players in the league when he's on form. Let's see how he responds to being dropped before we sell him eh

Barkley.s weaknesses are greater than his strengths, in two years he will not be worth a blow down a ragman's horn, his only value will be to keep the English quota for the premier league.
Hope I am wrong, but just do not see any improvements in his game, to keep doubling down on him having a good game is not a risk worth taking.
Some keep saying he needs the right manager and coaching staff to bring him on, yet only Martinez would continually play him the five or so binned him.
Many on her say Martinez ruined him, play him another position others say, no coach, manager or uncle Tom Cobbly can give what he lacks a football brain, he has all the gear, but no idea.

How do you reconcile that statement with the fact that he was the top scoring & assisting English midfielder domerstically last season.

No idea yet directly involved with 22 goals it's easy to score & Assist isn't it a lot harder to track runners & make tackles. Haha your delusion is strong

I watch him every game, "there are lies, damn lies, and statistics." they mean nothing and are distorted.
If you have to quote stats then you have no response.
Stats say today inflation is at 1% ask anyone who shops if that's true, stats are there to baffle dim- wits,no disrespect intended.

Yes I like to see young home grown players in the team, as long as they are good enough and doing the business, at the
moment Ross is struggling to impose himself in a lot of games, most of us know he has loads of talent and ability, he is going through a long spell were there doesn't seem to be a lot of improvement in his overall game. Koeman is a great
manager who hopefully will give Ross plenty of game time in the near future and give him plenty of encouragement to start
producing the talent he has got consistently. At the moment Ross doesn't seem to enjoy playing, he can get over this poor period and go on to a very long career with Everton, like most fans we all hope Ross can move on become the player we all hoped he would be. Best of luck Ross.

No idea what your occupation is but if genuinely believe stats are there to baffle dim wits then your very wrong. Stats are an extremely useful management tool in every workplace.

Clubs are spending millions on data analysis & statitisics with whole teams of employees.

Watch the highlights further up the thread then watch last nights game & tell me Barkley will soon be worth blow down a Rag mans bone as if he is this league is finished as he is head & shoulders above the majority on show last night.

Now you are talking rubbish, your final paragraph is delusional.
Never presume you know more about management techniques or business ownership or being a football coach, I hold a badge have been a MD
and owned my own business, now my first game I watched was the 1946 cup final and seen all the great players post-war and Barkley is on page 976 of good players.
If Barkley ever reaches his so-called potential I will give my season ticket away and stop making the 200 mile round I make on average to watch Everton.
Do not hold your breath.
I repeat only Martinez persevered if his so called are so good why has he been binned by other managers.
