Is it time for us to replace Howard?

I'd have been fuming as i watched Lukaku sign for someone else

We'd have got a striker of some sort in no matter what. As good as Lukaku? Maybe, maybe not. Probably not. But we'd have a reliable keeper.

All ifs and buts I guess but I'd have been happy we had a good keeper.

Again, I don't hate Howard. I just think we could do better. And probably need better.

At last Joel, the people did say
Was to certain poor keepers in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their goal
On a cold winter's night that was so whole
Joel, Joel, Joel, Joel
Born is the Keeper who we must not sell

I say stick with him, you can't blame the second goal on him as he did not know what Lennon was going to do, it was not like it was a race between him and the striker. If he came out early and Lennon shot he would have been in the wrong position, as it was it was a superbly weighted ball and he had to quickly cover his near post (as any keeper is told to do) and Soldado took it well.

The first one we can attribute blame to but not all of it, who let Kane an easy run towards the box and no-one came in with a decent attempt at a block and Coleman should have been more alive to Eriksons position.

Palace is the only game where Howard has had a true howler this season, in my memory anyway. I stand here to be corrected.
