(intrestingly second best = berbatov - 5-27 , arteta is miles ahead)

(just to note everton have a very low shot accuracy ratio of 38% joint second lowest in the prem)

so is arteta as good as everyone thinks ?
in fact hes better than we think.
imo he is a cm ,not a true wide player , there is also a lack of end product , this clearly isnt down to arteta's passes but down to poor shooting from the receiver of the cross/pass.

put him in his best position , improove the quality of the shooting accuracy for the strikers and then we will really see arteta at his best.

Disgrace that he ended up our captain, he doesn't warrant a starting place never mind the armband.
 
I don't question his passion, never have done. That's a cop out.

What I can't defend is players hiding, Arteta hid today bar a 10 minute patch when he moved to the middle.

Either play him in the middle or drop him, simple as really.
 
Arteta is not as good as a lot of fans think, maybe now we can understand why he is still to play for his national side!!
 

I am a huge Arteta fan and there were times when I dreaded a top four club or a big Spanish club trying to buy him, but when was the last time Arteta had a good game, never mind a great game, I can't remember. His value to Everton and anybody willing to pay for him has decreased immensely in the last 12 months, ever since he started playing awful. We should sell him in January unless he proves otherwise.
