Welcome back Wayne
Which one?
Foster.....
Which one?
I love the letters pages in the Tory papers on the Irish border subject. All the one from addresses in England say it's an EU con and easy to solve and all the ones with Irish addresses ( both sides of the border) say it's a real issue and a harbinger of further troubles.
Surely the English not bungling over Ireland again!

Indeed, Alan.
It appears the English have learned nowt over the centuries
Sadly, they care even less which is why this border farce is repeating itsekf a century after its inception.
Foster.....
This is not an ‘English’ thing. This is a U.K. matter.......

Do you think she will roll the dice and risk the Kamikaze approach, Pete?
I mean, I hope she does.....I would love an election![]()
who do you want to replace her?I don’t know, but I think she might. She should have gone after the previous debacle, but she didn’t. She just seems to be a fighter who will not give up.......
And this type of reply, @Alan Whittle , is a perfect example of the myopic, Little Englander ignorance you allude to in your post![]()

To be honest the DUP have dug their heels in so hard over having no border of any kind in the Irish Sea it is difficult to see them backing down from their intransigent position. Something has to give. May is desperate to save her own skin so she will dance to their tune - if she doesn't she risks a GE and a possible Corbyn government, so for me the mostly likely outcome remains a no deal Brexit.A couple of billion will grease the wheels. Arlene will 'get a guarantee' about the limited length of a customs arrangement in the Irish Sea. It will be a fudge, like Blair's side letters during the GFA, and by the time the 'guarantee' has expired the people will be used to the arrangement. Never forget, Arlene and Co love money.
Hope I'm wrong by the way!

Oh dear.
More like a rat backed into a corner.
She belatedly sees what is coming down the pike, deal with May or no deal with May, and hasn’t the wit to either get out of its way or hop aboard.
Her bigotry prevents her admitting even to herself that Northern Ireland is not North Wales and that the hopes and aspirations of going on half the population cannot be cast aside just as they were in 1922.
Mr. Barnier is offering NI a unique position in the EU and commonsense dictates Foster should grab it with both hands.
But alas, bigotry always trumps commonsense.....![]()
