If the Israeli intelligence is so brilliant, it's hard not to believe that they must have known about the hamas attack.
Apparently so. I was shocked at the level myself, but when you analyse it - it makes sense due to Israel’s location and its intelligence gathering capabilities in the region. Plus it has access to something most other Intel gathering nations do not and that is HUMINT.
There are protocols setup for the exchange of intel between Israel the European CTG, UK’s SIS and MI5 and also with other nations intel agencies such as CIA and NSA.
Intelligence is just one part of the picture - you then have to act or respond to that gained intelligence.
Exactly why Israel didn’t will hopefully be a major part of the downfall of Netanyahu and his cronies.

Anyone who's been to Israel would be well aware of the levels of security everywhere,beaches have IDF sunbathing and playing beach volleyball,but always with their various armaments close to hand. A fairly major concert with little to no security...yeh sure.
