The female actresses, the head of their boxing federation and now their WC captain have all spoken out in the past day, which is very courageous.

The more who speak out, the harder it will be for the regime to try and suppress what's growing and growing.

Yeah I think it's got too much momentum now.

Everyone who's spoken out..... high profile or not..... Incredibly brave.
 
Good article.

I'd add to that back in the 1930's the then Shah passed a law forcing women to remove their veils under his Mandatory Unveiling Act, known as the kashf-i hijab campaign. It was part of his attempt to westernise and modernise society as he saw it.
