I dont know, its currently a poisoned chalice.

Only an utter madman or somebody beyond desperate would take the job currently.

Theres not many better jobs in the league...

City = Guardiola going nowhere
RS = Klopp going nowhere
United = Massive expectations
Arsenal = Limited funds to spend + huge pressure
Chelsea = Lampard going nowhere
Leicester = Rodgers going nowhere
Spurs = Mourinho

Aside from United and Arsenal were the best game in town.

We have planned, we have approached managers, I reckon a few have said "Not now", come back to me in May, I reckon a few have said "LOL, no mate", the few that have said "Yes please", their names are David Moyes, Mark Hughes and so on.

So for now we stick.
I think the board would like to stick but it has gone too far for that just now. I think the plan may have been to limp along until the summer picking up enough points to keep us safe until the summer and make a change then but the really disastrous results have turned the atmosphere toxic and when that happens there is only one conclusion.

You say Arsenal has limited funds and huge pressure.

What do you think Everton is? Its the same thing.

None of those teams are 15th with the best teams in the league to play in the next month.

The pressure at Arsenal is to get into top 4 with limited funds and a crazy fanbase...

The pressure at Everton is to finish top 8 with money to use and rebuild to gradually aim for top 6 and then top 4.

Its a world of difference.

We have spent 86m in the last 3 transfer windows.

We dont spend any more money than the 19 other teams in the league.

Infact that level of spending would certainly put us at the lower end.

1 thing we have done well is convince the world that we spend money,

Interim manager? More short term thinking. That's why we bumble about from one disaster to the next. We need to break the bank to get a quality long-term proven manager in now, it'll work out much cheeper then brining in all these utter no-marks every eighteen mouths or so!
