Initial 10, then reduced to 6 + 2 Point Deductions

If this club has any backbone, they will be looking at a legal case against the Premier League, a test for our owners this.
The crazy thing is it even says in the PL bylaws that any grievences against another team have to be addressed through the PL itself and not said team. Yet we have 3 lawsuits against us and 0 against the governing body that allowed our "sporting advantage" to proceed. But Chelsea with their 7 players that this is brought up from, gained NO sporting advantage by having fraudulent agent fees for? It just makes a mockery of.... I mean, it makes a mockery of life because that's where we are.

I don’t think the new owners will be bothered - they actually benefitted by being able to buy a distressed asset.

It’s not hard to imagine Moshiri consulting a lawyer about how much the sporting sanction may have cost him in terms of the damage to the brand, prize money, ability to buy and sell players, the value of the club as an asset etc. Ultimately though, it’s probably more a case for Usmanov and, as someone who’s sanctioned himself, he’s not going to be doing anything.

As did Todd Boely

They noticed the illegal dealings during the Due Diligence .
No doubt that will have set their price.
Yeah and I bet the Friedkins ensured that Moshiri was still on the hook for any ongoing or future compensation claims or punishments against us.

Wouldnt surprise me
They walked away 1st time then bought on more favourable terms.

Point being is the points deductions we and others had to take and Chelsea receiving a 10 mil fine !!! Plus a 12 month transfer ban ??? That wont effect them one iota as it is laughably "suspended"

This club , whoever the owners are should be looking to challenge this gross misjustice.

I think you’re reading too much into my comment.

I’m not saying their punishment is sufficient.
I’m not saying we were treated fairly.

I was just pointing out a misconception a poster had, which is addressed in the article.
Ok Buddy, point taken.
Whether it meant they would have broken PSR or not, their punishment in relation to ours is lightweight at best.
I’m still fuming with Masters and the PL for the way we were treated.

There is zero chance to complain or make any headway in this. The Sly 6 are the main contributors to the money cow that is the EPL, and there is no possibility of any league member voting to punish them. If there was anything that should have done it, it was The Super League shenanigans, but what was their punishment? Twice bugger all.

Just move on. Those that know, know - no-one else gives a flying whatsit.
