He is such a narcissist I think that’s what he wanted so all the headlines would be about him and the PL and not the celebrations around one of the UKs most famous and iconic grounds.

He should have been allowed entry and then not allowed to take his seat because the club’s security team could not guarantee his safety(as with headlock gate) due to the strength of feeling against him…he could either accept the safety decision or be escorted off the premises immediately if he failed to comply.

If he tried to win a PR war post match by saying he was denied entry then I think most fair minded people would ask “why the hell would you go to Goodison on such an emotional occasion given your reputation amongst the club’s supporters and hierarchy”.

He’s a “merchant banker” of the highest order.
