Except it appears that we we're in contact with both Tottenham and the Premier League about the Johnson transfer and if we do have evidence of this and that the Premier League okay'd it , as has been suggested , then that does equal a substantial mitigation .
I don't think the double jeopardy thing will hit us , the allowable losses will go up quite a bit and we have since sold more players , but then again it could.
Hate to break it to you mate, but the PL also said we could deduct the interest from our PSR calculation, then changed their mind and charged us and deducted us 10 points. That’s actually in our proceedings, in Forests case you are just providing optimistic here say, You are fooling yourself, if you think the PL are going to do you any favours, if they were going to, they wouldn’t have charged you. You’re in trouble.
The way double jeopardy works is you are now in breach, therefore you are immediately in breach the following year, so you have to mitigate, if you haven’t budgeted for the charge from 22/23, then you could be in breach again in 23/24, very easily….
Funny thing with thing with Notts Forest fans is they seem to be claiming the BJ should be I’m accounts 22/23 and also 23/24.
Unfortunately mate, you’re about to learn the hard way.
