Why wouldn't it though? The 12 month suspension would be from the date of either the first charge, or the 10pts being implemented. Either way the second charge would fall inside that period.

Agreed. It’s based on the very next 12 month accounting period. The whole point of a suspension for 12 months would be to say if you don’t breach next year, you get off without punishment, but we have allegedly breached.

It'd be a horrendous result. -20 is ASTONISHINGLY unlikely (even the PL, as ridiculous as they are isn't giving another -10 for a period that's been 2/3 (or 3/4?) covered by the last deduction, especially after the last backlash...) and any other 2nd deduction comes with Forest getting at least -10 for their charge, which means we make up ground/overtake them.

Without opening a can of worms here, what are we like for the following 3yr period ie the ones we will have to submit details for by end of this calendar year? Or will the change of rules in the summer work for us also if the 10 points are suspended?

Or do we think we will have to make another high sale again ie Onana or Branthwaite to balance the books for this season?

I'd expect a big player going next summer. Onanna seems to be the most likely, unless someone comes in with 100M+ for Branthwaite.

Completely new rules next season though (which is the real joke of this process) - more aligned with UEFA's thresholds etc, which apparently we wouldn't have breached under.

Both will be gone in the summer. Presumably one needs to depart before the end of June

I can see a few teams going for Branthwaite and he’d definitely command a bigger fee than anyone else at the club. He is the only player that I would be gutted to see go, the rest I’d have no issue for the right price.
